Was very cool and had me on edge, up until the part where the game turned into vampire survivors. Have you played fear and hunger? I feel like for a game like this, a slower turn based combat system could work really well I loved the art.
Hey! Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback :D In our case we did want it to be like vampire survivors purposefully, but with it split between the 'RPG' side and the 'roguelike' side. The vision for the 'full' game would be you'd get past the hallway then it would be back to RPG, and then back to combat again and so on and so forth.
Of course this was also based on what we wanted to try and replicate, but a great note that doing so removes a bit of the horror tension. I'm going to check out fear and hunger also!

Interesting game, love the art style, but the music is phenomenal, I found myself humming along to it a lot.
